VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Circle Center Adult Day Services is a licensed, non-profit adult daycare center established in 1976 to assist families with caregiving. Our program is designed to meet the physical, social and emotional needs of older adults who are frail or functionally impaired. Volunteers play a vital role in providing the individual attention needed and appreciated by older adults. We invite your involvement in one or more of the following areas:

CRAFTS - Simple woodworking, needlework, art, and crafts are part of our daily activities.

COME PLAY WITH US - Bingo, ring-toss, dominos and cards are just a few of the many games we play daily. Perhaps you can teach us new games.

IS GARDENING YOUR THING? - Green thumb? Many of our participants love having someone help them tend the flowers that are planted inside and outside around the Center.

BREAKFAST, SNACK & LUNCH TIME - Help our participants enjoy their morning or afternoon snacks, or assist them at breakfast or lunch time.

ADOPT-A-FRIEND - Enjoy time talking and sharing special moments with our participants. They really like to make new friends, and soon you'll be part of our family.

STRETCH & STROLL - Come "stretch" with our participants and then accompany them on a stroll around the grounds of the Center.

SING- A- LONG & STORYTELLING - Join our participants during several of their favorite times of day - sing-a-long and storytelling. Bring your own stories or we can provide them.

OFFICE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST - Answer the phone, make copies, address envelopes, and assist with other office jobs that you enjoy and are essential to our success.

SAM’S CLUB or UKROP’S SHOPPER - We'll arm you with a list of our needs and a check. A van, station wagon or SUV is required. This really can be a big help! A good family project!

WE ARE OPEN SATURDAYS! Come Saturdays for a more intimate group. Bring a special talent to share (singing, cooking, or drawing) or assist with daily activities.

WHEN ARE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE??? You can make a difference anytime Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM or Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Volunteer opportunities last from 2 - 4 hours per week and regular volunteers are encouraged.
