RESULTS

RESULTS measure quality care and our effectiveness in helping participants and their families.  One way we track this is though a confidential survey mailed to all families using the Center in April-May each year.

It is our goal to keep families together as long as possible.  This can be accomplished in part by using our services to enhance their lives.

A brief profile of those we served during our fiscal year 2007-2008:

  • All participants were 53 years of age and older
  • 69% of caregivers worked outside the home
  • 100% of participants were dependent in more than one ADL (bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, ambulation) or had cognitive/emotional limitations which affected judgementand safety
  • 39% of participants required medication while at the Center
  • 37% of our participants required physician-prescribed special diets
